Rock Climbing and Canyoneering Courses
Do you want to learn the skills that we use everyday to keep our groups safe and make sure their trip to Zion National Park is a fun, unforgettable experience? In our canyoneering courses you’ll learn many of the skills you need to have your own adventures effectively and safely.
We offer a one, two, and three day course. Day one will consist of a skills day. If you wish to add additional days on to your course, you will run a different canyon each day under the supervision of your guide to get time in the canyons to practice your technical skills.
After completion participants will have the skill set to travel through several canyons in Zion National Park including: Keyhole, Subway, Pine Creek, etc.
Canyoneering Course Trip Details
All of the canyoneering courses will begin with a single technical skills day about 7-8 Hours in length. Plan to spend the day learning and implementing basic technical canyoneering skills under the supervision of the guide. This day is education heavy with opportunity for practical experience as well. A 1-day course is sufficient for beginner canyons such as The Subway and Key Hole.
2-Day or 3-Day courses consist of the initial skills day followed by 1 to 2 days of completing additional canyons. These additional days will each consist of running a different full day canyon route. Participants will be making all the decisions and navigating the canyon(s) using the skills you learned on day 1 while under the supervision of your guide. This gives an opportunity to learn additional skills while practicing the primary canyoneering skills in a safe environment.
