Rock Hoppers
Guided Family Adventures!

Do you have kids 12 & younger? Our Rock Hoppers program provides your family an opportunity to share an experience they will never forget. The trips are focused specifically for the young adventurer to help them feel empowered, tap into their natural curiosity, and inspire them to respect and appreciate nature. All Rock Hoppers trips are private and include a guide that has youth development experience with coaching kids in a climbing or canyoneering setting.

Kids Trip Options

A half day trip, whether it is canyoneering, climbing, or combination, is the perfect amount of time. Our guides are great at working with the youngsters to get them through the rappels or the rock climbs. Some Rock Hoppers are ready to go and can’t get enough while others are nervous and need more coaching. Our guides will customize the trip appropriately and are all trained in safety techniques to make sure your kid’s safety is #1.

Rock Hoppers Half Day Trips

Half Day trips are perfect for children who are first time adventurers. Depending on what interests them, we can climb, cannoneer, or a little of both. In the 4-5 hours your family spends with us you will get a great taste of the outdoors and experience the fun that nature provides!

*For a half day combination (canyon and climb), we recommend it for families of 4 or fewer to give adequate time in each activity. Have a larger family? Consider our full day combination trip as it will give you more time to spend in each activity!

Rock Hoppers Full Day Trips

Older kids or those who’ve already shown their adventurous spirit will love our full-day kids’ trip. Although we think the half day is the best option, we know some Rock Hoppers can’t get enough. A full day canyon, climb, or combination trip can be exactly what you are looking for. The full day is more strenuous but also allows your family to get more rappels and cover more terrain. Some full day canyons have hikes up to 1.5 hours and are for those who want the extended adventure!
